Oh my god, that's it. He's terrified that cars will become electric because he knows how the British do with electrical systems! Actually, it might be more accurate to describe British engineering and QC as what is done to an electrical system.

No, Mr. Clarkson, I expect you to die.
I HATE THIS WORTHLESS DOUBLE POSTING POS COMMENTING SYSTEM>
Ah, the good ol' Ferrari vacuum cleaner.
Glad I checked before posting this in a new thread. Of course it's P.E.C. I mean, look at it. The meat is sliced thin, and you know this person made little cuts in each slice at 12, 4, and 8 o'clock so it wouldn't curl up in the pan. Magnificent.
No global appeal? NO GLOBAL APPEAL?!!
My living fear is the day when Watterson passes and Dreamworks tries to buy his IP.
I fell in love with Calvin and Hobbes as a kid. Every Sunday was a new treat. And it was clear to me then that whoever was making this comic was a genius. This response on Bill Watterson's part is just more evidence of that. Bless this man. Bill Watterson gets it. HE GETS IT.
Good. Reading Calvin and Hobbes is a deeply personal experience. We don't need a voice actor telling us what Calvin should sound like or animators trying to bring him to life in a horrible amalgam of Watterson's style and cartoon puppetry. It is perfect the way it is.
Good. I am glad he is sticking to what he believes. As much as I love C&H, keeping it like it is, is for the best.
Bill Watterson is cartooning’s J.D.Salinger: creator of a genius-level touchstone work who’s practically disappeared…
He would have been even faster if he didn't need to attach a sidecar to hold his balls.
+1 for Lupin the Third reference. Would definitely Oppo.
No, this video hasn't been artificially sped up — it really is that fast.
Ironic that you didn't call him "President Obama" in your rant.
You've obviously never served. It's common for higher ups in the chain of command to refer to subordinates by their first name.
I'd like to point out one thing though. Swenson is RETIRED. That means he no longer has a rank to be called and calling him one would be improper.
He's also giving the guy the highest honor…
You people will find ANYTHING to fault Obama for, it's just crazy really.
...and Barack Obama is the Commander-in-Chief of all U.S. military forces, meaning he outranks the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Awww, they don't have to push the industry anywhere. They can, you know, coax it. Maybe buy it a drink. Give it a nice back rub. Tell it it's pretty. Work that fire and mojo, nawmean?
