I wonder if this can fit in a Miata?

No graphics chip is my only gripe of this PC. Other than that , I honestly can't think of any other complaints with the Portege.

@Damien Crossan: I'd buy that in an instant if it was out now. Hurry up ;)

@Insecur1tyGuard: I'd pay the extra $$$. My little cousin managed to key the crap out of my old TV, and I had another TV screen get cracked after having some guests over. Being able to toss your gaming controller of choice at the TV with no side effects is a bonus.

This will come in handy for all those frustrating video games.

Its probably because they don't want government officials, or other people in the know, mouthing off the location of an uranium enrichment facility other WMD on their BlackBerry, and then that information is stuck on a RIM server in Canada.

Problems is that I'd still get robbed blind if I had that in Oakland, CA.

@michelegilliam01: It really depends on when and where you bust out your laptop. It wont be too much of an issue if you are using it while in a business district (Where people routinely use their work laptops), but pulling it out at night, when few people are on the train is a rather unwise idea...

@geekening: Or you know, think twice before you speak?

@wætherman: I think that Peter North owns that shop, IIRC.

I really wonder how much of that is due to the better processor of the iPhone 4 instead of the gyroscope. A lot of those jerky movements ( on the screen) can be aided by a faster processor ( which the A4 clearly is...)

@The_Vitto: It's Apple's new favorite word to exploit. :P

@The_Vitto: Technically it's a new product if it has a significant redesign. So if the MacBook Air got a glass screen and a glass track-pad, thats a new product, or if they installed cameras on the iPad and iPod touch, that's a NEW product.

I've had the Livescribe Pulse pen for a while, and in class it's a real life-saver, especially in all my chemistry courses. It's really nice to have every detail of lectures at you fingers, from important announcements, down to those corny jokes that professors tend to tell, and I can back the notes up to my computer

All these good phone OS rolling out makes me wish for a phone that can dual boot OSes. I'd love to try out WP7, but I already have a few paid Android apps that I really don't want to leave behind.

@bradyb: Problem is that you don't get 31MPG rating once you select a manual transmission and track pack on the Mustang. Gotta love the fine print on these cars, eh?

Shouldn't DOT (Federal) supersede whatever state rules are put in place? That's a constitutional violation if its vice versa. This is pretty stupid in the first place, but this has to go to a Supreme Court, either state or federal.

@TomXP411: I had the R1 also since launch (Lunar Shadow, SU7300, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, BT) and its a very good machine, but it does have its flaws. And the keys ARE beveled, but they are not beveled to the extent that most desktops and bigger laptop keyboards are. You can always upgrade the hard drive to your choice
