I think it would haven a bit better if Fiat used that 1.7L that was supposed to to into the MiTo GTA, because right now it's doing nothing but collecting dust!

Like the article said, this engine makes sense in a PHEV as a backup power generator. I can't imagine the engine being very efficent by itself since it produces so little power, and it doesn't have a very high RPM to make it somewhat usable. The concept looks alright, but it's probably based of of the Corolla's platform. And exactly why would anyone be willing to pay more for a Corolla? This car would be better if it was RWD based like the other Lexuses.

@PlayerX: An R32 has V6 power and AWD. Unless Lexus is planning an F version of this car, it's not going to be anywhere as sporty as an R32. Besides, Lexus probably won't make a manual transmission available for this car.

That trunk reminds me of a BMW 135i. It could look good with a carbon fiber lip spoiler.

@pauljones: @pauljones: I really like the styling of the Terrain, it looks like a mini Yukon in small way, and the interior is pretty good. On top of that the quality of the SUV is high (judging from these pictures) and it gets car-like MPG.
