An interesting read. However, as I mentioned in my reply to a comment here, I feel that the author cherry-picks examples to prove his point. (To be fair to him, it is very difficult to be all-inclusive when dealing with such a massive body of work.) But that is part of the weakness inherent in articles such as this:…

But that is part of the weakness inherent in articles such as this: the fallacy of oversimplification or selective sampling.
