What was it about the controls that ruined the experience for you?

Current Detroit resident, native of the Chicagoland area: while I was super jealous when I visited Italy, this does bring a dose of reality into the equation.
Imagine a Samurai ordering a cup of Frappuccino.
It’s commercialisation that keeps them vibrant and relevant, though. There’s only so much room for open air museums in prime real estate areas. Better to put those historical buildings to good use, while still respecting their architectural heritage.
I feel it may be taken out of context. I feel he’s getting at the fact that the indie explosion in the past was new and promotable as a reason to buy a PS4. Now it’s a given, and on all consoles, so no point dwelling on the medium as a whole, just show a trailer reel and be done with it. Whereas they’re promoting VR…
The full quote gives a pretty different impression for what its worth. He specifically says it doesnt reflect their importance on the platform rather how valuable the indie montage is in a press conference. I mean thats still debatable but taken out of context the quote above seems like hes saying something different.
I like it a lot... though the weakest element there seems to be Starbucks itself. :P
I mean, if I was there, I’d probably go with a traditional tea house instead.
It’s actually quite beautiful, but this feels wrong somehow.
Its believable in that games and beauty youtube are some of the biggest genres on the site and tend to each skew a bit gender-wise (though I think the Kids toy channels are possibly the biggest). And there is a lot of game-tubers who date beauty ones (not in an interesting way just in aa boring one). Pewdiepie the…
That soap opera affect has nothing to do with 4k and can be turned off in your settings. It’s usually called frame smoothing or some other such nonsense. I could never get used to that.
Some advice for TV shoppers, I got my 4K tv fairly early and it doesn’t support HDR, make sure you get one with HDR. Even though there isn’t much 4K content everything clearly looks better on my set, sports, tv shows, Netflix, and Hulu. I own a PS4 PRO as well, while certain games certainly take more advantage of the…
I think buying TO make the jump is a waste. But if you are in the market for a new tv 4K is the way to go. It has gained more widespread user adoption than any tv technology in recent memory. And that is strictly because of how fast the proves on them have dropped since they came out. Back in 2012 it was almost…
Well meaning IF your looking to buy a TV, which is obvious within the context.
If anyone is buying a TV definitely go 4k but the question is more are you going to buy one just too make the jump to 4k.
Considering there’s not much right now that will offer 4K playback, and considering bandwidth limits many have, I don’t think there’s going to be anything “better” than 4K in the near future that will be mainstream. 4K isn’t even there yet.
How close you sit shouldn’t be determined by your screens DPI, it should be determined by your screens size. (or, perhaps more accurately, your screens size should be determined by how close you sit) Better “perceived” DPI just reduces aliasing/improves detail at that optimal distance/size combo.
Oh no. And I thought 3D would be the real deal to watch sports!
It’s not never going to take off, but like HDTVs 10-12 years ago, the entry point prices are still a bit high for most people.
Honestly I don’t know why anyone WOULDN’T be looking for a 4K tv. I mean the prices for a decent 4K tv are barely above that of a good 1080p tv. And I don’t know if there are any 1080p tvs with HDR, now or coming to market. 4K prices have dropped WAY WAY faster than did 1080p set’s when that was the next big thing.…
I don’t think it matters. OG Xbox supported HDTVs when very few people owned them. Then, when the 360 came out, it didn’t have an HDMI port since there were very few people with 1080p TVs at the time (even the PS3 originally wasn’t going to have an HDMI port on their 20GB system). Didn’t take them very long to add a…
