When has women’s opinions mattered in any Trump household? We have at least three generations of proof they’re little more than trinkets, trophies or accessories to their patriarchal counterparts. Hell, Donald’s own mother was considered more of a “maid” to him than an “influential authority figure.”

So, this is proof positive of how much bullshit “Support the Troops” is. These women are in uniform and it didn’t mean a goddamn thing to this unhinged banshee, because it’s not really about “supporting the troops,” it’s a weaponized saying used to intimidate people you see as outside the tribe.

Applying to 10-20 schools is a problem, but mostly because it is an expensive and time-intensive process that favors upper income families who have the funds and vacation time to craft targeted applications and make campus visits. Poor kids and their parents rarely have the resources to apply that extensively. But,…

While I haven’t watch this station in along time, when I heard “Fox 5 DC” and that an anchor called this child “obnoxious,” I just knew it was Holly. She is such a pill. A miserable person with a face full of fake smiles.

That is the laugh of a kid who knows the system is fucked, knows he’s getting locked up for no reason, and knows the actual cop who committed the actual murder got off free.

Part of me wants him to join and speak up with all of the other Parkland survivors. This is someone who thought in the moment, “What can I do to prevent more loss of life” and took action. I think his instincts are a powerful symbol of the goodness in people.
