I would question the group in your first link. Were they founded by some right wing PAC or something, like blacks for trump? Probably.

The people in all those lynching photos had regular lives before and after. It’s the banality of evil in the beginning that allows for mass atrocities later.

Why does “me too” have to be “we too” before people are investigated? When will single accusations be heard and treated with respect?

“He’s NOT getting my vote. Period.”

Why is it the least a white man can do is listen? It’s always a passive action with them, then they get to go on forgetting about it all.

I can actually see them use the “botched drug deal” to discredit his testimony, especially without him here to defend his character from their attacks.

Two black men are dead under somewhat mysterious circumstances, and the white female cop/murderer who theoretically set all this shit in motion may not serve any time at all.

I know you’re a troll, but this is stupid and disingenuous even for you.

I hope he sues the living shit out of this school. The idea that telling someone not to call you a name is a fireable offense if the most idiotic thing I have ever heard and they are not qualified to teach brine shrimp much less children.

Cher tells unjustly fired school guard: I got you, babe” would also score the points.

If you google Cher this is the top “news” story:

Thank you. And I get your point. Right now I am just pleasantly surprised and very very pleased that someone whose work I admire so much has responded to something I posted. This is massive!

I think that’s a really great point. And one thing I wish I could have, and should have, made more clear is delineating a personal act of forgiveness vs the spectacle of it. I don’t know if Brandt intended for it to be a spectacle, but because it was filmed, because it was such a high profile case, and because the

“Brandt Jean’s hug was not a political statement but a personal one, and it’s a distinction we need to make if we want to live in a world where his older brother is still alive.”

You can’t solve this by hiring better people. You have to make room for better people by moving out those unfit for the job. Any abuse of authority should be grounds for dismissal; waiting until someone dies is waiting too long.

After certain tragedies, people often say “If only we knew! How did we miss these signs???”

Reading that was like playing racist, far right wing mad-libs. Its like she just took a bunch of random bigotry and made her own little bigot hot dog and it became that FB post.

SENTIENT HAM RUNS FOR OHIO SENATE, NEWS AT 11!

I dont care what anyone says, I put my home state's ignorance and racism up there with anywhere in the US
