My guess:
They release Black Widow to theaters on May 7. It does about as well as a film can at this point but doesn’t do what Disney (justifiably) wants it to do. At that point, they surprise release it to Premier Access.

Other helpful tips for viewers:

1. It’s not Mephisto
2. ScreenRant, The Ringer, Newsarama, and all sorts of “scoops” sites will try to convince you that it Could Be.
3. Once the series wraps, TV Twitter will tell you that it’s your fault for thinking it was Mephisto.

My one hope for all of this: I never have to hear about the fucking Snyder Cut again. I generally try not to yuck other people’s yum. I get that Snyder’s style is not appealing to me and that’s fine. Enjoy what you enjoy.

I thought the show made it clear that Hex Vision didn’t transfer his memories, he just unlocked White Vision’s memories which were being supressed. That would include everything up until the moment he was killed by Thanos.
