I’d like to believe this... But if, like normal, his supporters are watching Fox News, this won’t even be a blip on their radar. Besides, they’re probably all the people that bought all the TP, to combat the China virus.

Thank you Torch. Always in with a good time.
I wasn’t a huge fan of this thing’s looks, but that second-to-last picture makes it look SOOOOO good.
That was the major sticking point for the UAW, ironically enough. They wanted a clear path from temp/part time to direct/full time.
Exactly this, contract make LESS.
Pretty much. That’s why I have a big problem with this massive CEO packages. If they actually deserved that kind of money, unknown times like these would be more bearable for the company, right?
In the automotive industry, there’s a huge mixture of direct and contract, especially at FCA; there isn’t a difference between essential and non-essential, they’re fulfilling the same jobs.
David is correct, contract workers are employees in all aspects except where their paycheck comes from. I worked at one of the big three as a contract engineer for 2 years before the layoffs in 2019. I’m not sure about every contact company, but I imagine they all operate the same; there was no severance package, no…
Andrew, your pictures and setup are top notch every single time on these big adventures. That was an enjoyable read.
Looks more like the Insight rear end, mixed with an A4 now. Which I’m okay with.
Agree, I do this if I somehow end up working under my car with no one else around. (Which I would tend to recommend people not do.)
Great review Kristen, the deal isn’t as good as you climb the trim levels and the transmission sucks; people just need to buy the Si. I have to nitpick you here, because, let’s be honest:
Very tempting
Every day we stray further from the light.
Great write-up Matt. Always enjoy hearing this from another engineer’s viewpoint. Modular architecture may sound perfect on paper, but with every development I’ve seen, you may start out with one architecture, but what makes production is almost unrecognizable.
This is nature balancing the scales.
The inner cynic in me is dying of laughter.
Beat me by like, 10 minutes.
Trust me, you don’t want any ‘developing markets’ vehicle.
Oh, it was glorious. That week, I was traveling over an hour away from my place to attend training for work, so a long drive coupled with snow didn’t equate to an enjoyable time. But this made it a little more bearable.
