Thank you!!! That was my understanding too with a CPA but these colleges definitely have a racket going. Very good advice about spreading out the courses- her top 2 schools are in PA and NJ and she has until after the holidays to commit. 

She does! Right now she’s considering a 4+1 program to get her BS degree and MBA. Worth it? She is getting a sports scholarship for first 4 years so that 5th year is on her...I told her to get work experience first and join a company that pays for MBA because I’m cheap like that and college is ridiculously expensive!

My high school senior wanted to be a nurse practitioner. She has watched me (telehealth) and my sister(respiratory therapist) get absolutely clobbered by Covid with my workload tripled and my sister deal with never ending death and short staffing.

Why is this not wire fraud? These idiots honestly deserve to lose their money, but these misleading schemes to get money from the devoted cult, one would *think* they are illegal.

We have a flock of backyard chickens and keeping them safe and predator proofing their coop has been an ongoing battle! Right now it’s the hawks. I fucking hate hawks. Their shadows creeping over me while outside give me serious anxiety.

Do not be ashamed for getting through this and being divorced. 3/4 of my married friends are now divorced and after taking time to heal and self-care, are back dating and have healthy partners. There is no “right time” to leave a toxic relationship.

The scary part is that he wasn’t shitty for 2 years and by most standards (super polite, actively volunteers, has a scholarship to college already) was a good kid. Until he wasn’t 😳.
