Her real issue is not with these "lesser" kids being brought into her neighborhood as a sort of "social service." Her real issue is having her status as an upper class person thrown in her face and having to actually deal with the feelings associated with seeing poor children.

Yep. When you finish a long snap your head is down and you're in a very vulnerable position (especially your head and neck). Forcing players to be outside the shoulders helps protect the head and neck.
