Yeah, it could be 100 feet away — it’s still lazy as fuck to just leave a stray cart blocking parking spaces and walkways. Not to mention damaging somebody's car.
Lol! Parenting is hard. No one is denying that it’s a pain in the ass to do stuff like make an extra trip across the parking lot when your kid is melting down. Unfortunately, parenthood is not a free pass to make the entire world around you cater to your needs and pick up your slack.
I DO have kids and I have never not returned a cart, so I'm not sure that I understand what the problem is here. Then again where I live you have to pay to get a cart and you get your money back when you return it. Not going to give Superstore a loonie every time I buy food.
Yeah, hi, parent here. Maybe try parking beside a cart corral? Idk if I’m at farthest end of the parking lot so long as I can park right by a cart return.
Most parking lots have cart corrals fairly close together. Either park near one or lock the doors and take back because chances are, it’s only 20 steps away anyhow.
The likelihood of something bad happening to your infant in the 30 seconds that it takes to walk your cart to the cart return is infinitesimally small.
The only show my entire family could ever agree unanimously on watching XD. Alberta to BC transplants, but that just made us love and understand Lacey that much more hahaha
Anyone else get stuck on how funny this sounds:
There is no crime of “rape” under Canadian law. It is called “sexual assault”.
Does anyone remember Ministry’s 1988 album Land of Rape and Honey?
Kristina, you can have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm.
Because without her participation and consent, the child wouldn’t have existed at all. She started the process and then tried to peace out in the middle, leaving her husband and the surrogate and the baby hanging. Imagine if it was an infertile dude who consented to and paid for a sperm donor to get his wife pregnant.
Well, a big thing here is protecting the surrogate. She can’t be considered the mother because she contractually said that her function is purely egg donor/incubator. So the “mother” must be considered the one who agreed to care for the child after birth, even if she decides she doesn't want it, because the surrogate…
Do you really find the concept of children that aren’t genetically related to you “odd”? Did you just get transplanted here from some universe where adoption never existed?
Uh, adoption works in a similar vein. You’re paying (in time and money) to adopt a child that is not related to you by blood in any way and your responsibility to that child is purely contractual (in a legal sense) because you’re not blood related. It’s not so odd.
That’s what I got out of this as well. He just wants her name on the paper so he can get her to pay child support. While I defos don’t think the surrogate should have to have anything more to do with the kid or be forced into child support I also wonder why they needed to put anything in the ‘mother’ side of the…
