Crimson Peak was not good. It's more obsessed with the image of Victoriana and the Gothic than it is with being a genuine example of a Gothic film. Which could be interesting, but the weak performances, uneven pacing, and the obtrusive score really damaged it.

It's been rough. But I'm someone who loved last series. As in I put it as the best series of the entire reboot. Anyway, yes, severe pacing problems and terrible scripts. The Whithouse episodes are strong contenders for worst ever.
