The Peter David Spider-Man 2099 is actually pretty okay, besides the 90s art. But I read them as goofy and satirical.

The movie's worth watching for the appallingly bad Eric Robert's performance, and their complete botching of Doctor Who lore. It's not completely awful, and a lot of it is functional, but when it's bad it is entertainingly terrible.
