Two quick observations: The first we see of Malvo in the episode is when he removes his mask in the dental office, saying "I was an animal," in reference to sleep deprivation. This foreshadows Lou's discussion of the murders of a year ago, where he describes the killer as an animal.

I really feel like Louie's going this way. The first jumping-the-shark moment for me was earlier in the season (I think it was the first of the 'Elevator' series) when we got to watch Louie shopping for 4 minutes to a soundtrack of slow jazz.

Sure this is racist and offensive, but no one's talking about how "less" should really be "fewer"!!!!

One of the better symbols in the episode, I thought, was the huge trunk on stage with Lester as he accepted his award. It served well to remind us of the weighty secrets Lester's still carrying with him.

I've heard there's a big "Stan never returns their WeedWacker" plot line in the works.

Hmmmm — to be fair, I think "Lick My Love Pump" is in d minor (the saddest of all keys), and the bass note descends diatonically: d, c, bflat, a.

Sorry, but I think this is just a byproduct of the restrictions of rock music. What's the progression? Start with an a minor chord (one of the most, if not THE most, common chords in rock), then walk the bass note down chromatically: a minor goes to a minor with a g# bass (a minor/major 7), then to a minor with a g

The best part are their tweets that read something like, "We must build up rather than tear down. #onelove", when the last 50 tweets have been allcaps rants calling people racists and nazis.

"Bananas?" Implying wudntulik2know is some sort of jungle-dweller?! RIDICULOUS. #racism #goebbels #CancelUneedaBiscuit

Why oh why did I spend time on Suey Park's twitter feed? It's ridiculous: these "Twitter activists" have the perfect game — if someone agrees with how marginalized they are, they see that as support. If someone disagrees, they identify that as more racism directed at them.

I'M GLAD WE'VE FINALLY ARRIVED AT THE ALL-CAPS PORTION OF THIS DISCUSSION! FOR TRYING TO HAVE A DIALOGUE WITH ME, I AM DECLARING YOU A DIPSHIT FOR ALL ETERNITY!!! (also, please accept Jesus into your life so you can attain the level of peace that I have)

I like how both of your options are really the same option — in both cases, he was always a hilariously pretentious asshole!

Ok, AV Club, as you mention, Rumi was into Sufism, a branch of Islam. However, the picture accompanying the article is clearly from Hinduism (that's Krishna on the right, rockin' out on a tambura).

I recommend Tolstoy to you, and I'm the dipshit? Lulz at you and your life!

I have a related question — are the waffle breakfasts the things that come wrapped in a tortilla? Or are those different? If so, what are those breakfast things in tortillas? I think they're hexagonal.

Um, The Room is clearly an allusion to Muhammad's Journey, and The AV Club has repeatedly panned that film.

You want some good pro-Christian media? Read Tolstoy. He's got the two greatest novels of all time to his credit, and they're full of stuff about Christianity. The problem here is not with Christianity; it's with this horrible movie.

THEY ARE TEARING CHRISTIANITY APAAAAART, LISA!

"Which side will you pick, the cowards or the followers [of Jesus]?" Maybe some people just don't have the sheer courage required of followers?
