I saw brutal in the same way i say something is awesome. I dont mean the literal definition , tho uncomfortable is in there anyways and hour commutes are uncomfortable.

Actually you make about average ($25 hr) or 50kish. I get your points tho. I really wasnt trying to say anyone under 100k is poor or anything. I just personally find it “brutal” to have to spend hours a day commuting. I will check out the article
Most of our interns are actually VERY hard foreign born (usualy asian) with visas coming from top 5 schools. I def didnt get an internship like that.
