Interesting that no one has brought up the issue of places that will not do separate checks. Some smaller places won’t do it. In places like that everyone keeps track of what they ordered usually one person pays the bill and everyone reimburses them.

I continue to be hooked on the wonderful writing and acting on the Expanse. Thank goodness Amazon picked up season 4. I hope they release the entire season at one time to allow binge watching which should make things exciting.

Problem is that a lot of used record stores are dying. NYC doesn’t have anywhere near the amount of used record shops it used to have in the 90's. Best bet these days at least in the U.S. are those thrift shops and flea markets that still sell vinyl.

Flying back east is usually the red eye for me from HI. Don’t want to waste a day traveling. Go to sleep as soon as I board. Noise cancelling ear buds. Breakfast soon after i land. Rice plates are usually for a person eating alone, so no rice bowl. Any way who eats rice with dim sum. Usually most people i know order Look Fun.

Got bumped up to first on JAL flight from Tokyo to Honolulu when the flight was overbooked with tours. Since there were only 3 of us, they upgraded us. This was in old days before they got privatized so service was excellent!
