Exactly. We are laughing at the fact that R.Kelly thinks that display was “grief”. We are laughing at the fact that R. Kelly wants public sympathy. We are laughing at a 50 year old man having gigantic, full-blown toddler tantrum on national TV. We are laughing because we all know he’s not getting away with anything…

And, most importantly, how many women and girls victimized by him are watching us watching him and wondering why so many of us think this is so fucking funny?

My problem with losing both Latrice and Manilla is that I am unsure who to root for.

Trinity is the front runner, I guess? But perhaps its just me, but she still feels underwhelming in many cases. When she does something that is supposed to be jaw-dropping, I’m left saying “meh”.

That’s fair. I felt that the drama of Manila’s elimination (and the ridiculously overdramatic rock, paper, scissors) made a great start...but after that main challenges and a drab runway, I was completely tuned out by deliberation time. 

I agree that this was a boring, subpar episode. Acting challenges are usually pretty bad and this was no exception. The episode was somewhat redeembed though by the suspense about the elimination and the fact that it was the last one before the finale. Yeah, I very much disagree with this rating because this was a boring as hell episode. Like, scripted acting challenges are almost always a scattering of cringey puns or references that fall flat, and the acting can be an absolute train wreck (Shakesqueer)...but even compared to the last several this one was just DULL.

He wasn’t attractive at all! Not that being attractive excuses his behavior, but how are all these women finding him charming and attractive?

I read an article this week that sums it up well. Ted Bundy wasn’t clever. He was white.

This is one of the reasons why I am divorced. I had all of this on top of a small business and I couldn’t “manage/train”* a husband. If I was going to do it all, then why are you here. I just couldn’t and I was becoming bitter and mean.

This reminds me of my partner and how he used to say he’s the one who “works.” It excuses all manner of laziness in the home. Housework and child-rearing is work. Unpaid, unappreciated work.

i can’t tell you how many times an incomplete party was seated at a large table only to never be completed & so cost me money b/c 3 or 4 people took up a table that could’ve accommodated twice that.  unless you’re going to guarantee you’re going to pay & tip for the reserved number of diners no matter how many…

We had a reservation and we would have ordered drinks and appetizers right away if we’d been seated, so why did they make us wait?
