But if there was one to begin with we wouldn't have to write one in.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the closest we'll ever come to a Farscape movie.
I'm kidding with you. You're absolutely right that it would have been fairly easy for the castle to be burned down, or at least damaged to such an extent that it would be unusable.
I'm sure the Targaryens thought of all that. I have great faith in their abilities.
Minions have names, you know!
That castle was built by the Targaryens when they first came to Westeros with their dragons. My guess is it holds up against heat pretty well.
She's just a little blown up. She could still come back.
I wouldn't have known if my wife hadn't pointed it out. Even then all I thought was, "oh, that guy whose name I seem to see everywhere these days yet I still don't know why he's famous."
Pretty big castle. Might have taken a while.
Sam is in Oldtown. he's doing his best
He's there on the Night Watch's dime
He's got to study to pass the maester test

Can't make an omelet without poisoning a few Freys.
Nope, he's got a Doctor Who Christmas special to attend to.
I'm pretty sure she has always been taller. In fact, I think the show is "heightening" Jon Snow so that Sansa doesn't appear to tower over him.
I just saw the movie! The one where Kurt Russell plays Crichton's dad!
Because AV Club is as American as goddamn apple pie! USA! USA! USA!
Nothing wrong with a free slurpee.
I thought John Goodman would have been a good choice for the lead, although when reading it I didn't have a specific character in mind. Gleason is awesome though so I'm sure I won't have any issues with his performance.
According to IMBD she is playing someone named Ida Silver. Don't remember her.
I read the book a few months ago. Brady did wear a clown mask.
There's enough in the book for a ten episode series. They'd have to add some padding but some of the characters could use a little fleshing out anyway. Hodges and Brady are the only ones in the book that get any texture.
