So Michael Myers pretty much just murders the entire town?  I’m down with that.

Except for Daredevil.  You could stop watching both seasons at episode 6 and walk away much happier.

I thought it was great as well.  Overall I don’t understand why so many people seem to be hard on this series.  I’ve been loving it.  Reminds me a lot of the early seasons of Futurama.

Never understood why the Enterprise computer wasn’t smart enough to automatically enhance any picture so that people can see it.

• ABC has given the green light to a pilot for a spin-off of The Middlecentering on Eden Sher’s Sue Heck. It’s just a pilot, which means it’s not officially moving forward as a real show yet, but it’s at least coming close. [via Deadline]

Guess Guardians 3 will be nothing but Groot and Rocket from beginning to end.

If you haven’t seen it, watch McCarthy’s Spy.  I guarantee it is much better and funnier than anything in this film.

I would argue that the two main characters were not quite regular people though. Both had careers in the spy industry, although as paper pushers, and Dan Aykroyd’s character was actually extremely competent at spywork.  Loved that movie.

Once the tax law kicked in I was so startled by how much less money was being withheld for taxes I immediately increased the amount. The messed up thing is how much Streep is featured in the marketing.  I have no interest in these films but I assumed that she was the lead in this one as well.  I can imagine people going in thinking the same thing.  I would be pissed.

I’m sure the budget for this was kept low. It’s based on a show that’s on non-stop on Cartoon Network and probably has limited appeal beyond families and kids, although I wouldn’t be surprised if it pulls in a lot of teens and twenty-somethings.  

I was pretty disappointed with Lego Batman.  Perhaps my expectations were too high after Lego Movie.  It has gotten better on repeat viewings but I have no problem believing the Teen Titans movie is better, or at least funnier.
