Here is one I would like to add: I've heard that if you learn something while you are drunk, that it is harder to remember when you are sober - and vice-versa. So if you studying for a test while you are drunk, you should take the test drunk.

I think the employer has a reasonable concern about any public profile information, but if they are concerned about what you are posting privately, a more reasonable solution would be to have the applicant accept a friend request from the employer. They would then be able to see anything you share with your other

I don't know where the author came up with $60 figure. Even the "$60" link in this article is mislabeled - it goes to a"60 Reorder Kit", which offers two refills for $30 - i.e. $15 per refill.

"Virtually everyone has always believed or been told that passwords derived their strength from having "high entropy". But as we see now, when the only available attack is guessing, that long-standing common wisdom . . . is . . . not . . . correct!"

IMO, The iPad is thin enough. There is little to gain making it smaller. If battery technology has notably improved and you keep the same thickness, you can then improve the battery life, or a least keep it the same, if the new features draw much more power. They should install this over Qualcomm Stadium and fire it up every time the San Diego Chargers score a touchdown. Way better than fireworks!

Your Matlock reference is as old and dated as... well, Matlock.

Perfect for a going away party. Hasta la vista, baby!

@♥♦ Goopplesoft ♣♠: You also missed WebOS, which powers the Palm Pre/Pixi, and will soon be added to many HP products (tablets, printers, etc...)

@Lizard_King: I have a Sprint Palm Pre, which comes with a free Sprint-branded Telenav app. Turn-by-turn directions, spoken street names, traffic alerts, etc. It works great, aside from the occasional weak GPS signal and the fact that it eats up battery life like crazy. Good thing I have a TouchStone in my car...

The Sandisk "Titanium" USB flash drives are made out of this stuff. Although, they are not very scratch resistant.

Sackboy would be proud!

@Eddard: He knew. And he tried to warn us.
