I have an '04 Si and I like the shifter. It's a lot closer to the wheel, and you get used to it quickly.

Sadly, there's no Group 44 left to build it. Tullius retired years ago and is more interested in WWII fighters than cars. And there's no place in road racing nowadays for a car like this. Pro racing is focused on coupes, and the B Production class in SCCA amateur racing has long since faded away.

Pearson and the Woods had been having a tense time most of the season; the botched pit stop was the last straw. The car didn't flip-it came to a stop on the remaining wheels. Pearson got out and walked away.

I had a guy hit me, got his license, went to call the cops and he disappeared. Gave the cops his licence-they even knew where he worked. And-nothing. They told me later that they don't go after hit-and-run drivers unless there's an injury. Just put a warrant out, and if he's stopped sometime..

That was the saddest thing I've seen all day...

I thought so too, but there's an ownWeb page on the Dreamhost wiki, with installation info: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/OwnCloud

Hennessey's achievement is remarkable. But it's still a bit of a stretch. First, it's a straight-line speed, not achieved on a closed-circuit. Second, it's really a Lotus/Hennessey; a highly-modified Exige, with a highly-modified Chevy engine. I would be curious if one could pass DOT and/or EPA manufacturing tests.

Nissan Altimas, or as I've taken to calling them, Assholeamas. Inevitably, when I encounter one it's driven by a person who does not know how to merge, give way, drive like an adult, or in fear of their own mortality. That I've yet to collide with one is more a comment on excellent Subaru brakes and handling than

Maybe it was an accident. So why didn't someone leave a note taking responsibility? Because nobody was watching? Because they didn't feel like they should do the right thing? Because they saw a big, new truck and thought "He can afford it?"

Fight? Oh please, Joey didn't get close enough to Denny to get into a fight. Mostly it was the FedEx guys grabbing Joey and pushing him away before his crew showed up to even things out.

Watching Mythbusters has made me intensely cynical when I see a "real" video now. Seeing how often companies fake things to create "viral videos" has made me a cynic.

This.

Hypothetically? Tear up the original surface, widen and repave it properly. Add run off areas, SAFER barriers, fencing to keep cars out of the trees. Build a new pit complex, timing/scoring tower, seating area. Build a paddock and access roads.

So glad I'm not the only one who thinks that

Niki: "Why can't I get the "Former Ferrari driver" discount?

If we're lucky, Leno gets one. That will be the only one the public ever will see on a road. If we're not, then all three are going to be locked away in private garages where they'll be kept clean and never run again...

Bravo, good sir, bravo!

"Leave me alone, I know what I'm doing!"

The best part? That Gordon Murray is still pissed off that McLaren screwed up the switch for the engine compartment light. Instead of making a proper piece when it had to be relocated, the attached it to another bracket already there. Murray hates the compromise.

That was the best part for me, seeing David E. one more time. Miss the cranky bastard...
