Best decision was starting to buy Acuras. Boring? Yes. Predictable, yes. Lame, plastic, uninspiring? Yes, yes and yes.

Not my cup of tea (pun intended) but $50k for what is basically a hand build car sounds about right. I’m sure there’s a BMW (or rusted out Buick) that could donate it’s I6 or I8 for this car to make the soundtrack a little closer to original, for not much more money.

Fraud, maybe. I’ve applied for multiple jobs that require several layers of security clearance. And all of them in the very beginning of the process explain in plain language that if you do not qualify, or know that you do not qualify for security clearance, you can not apply for the job.

Ehhhh, I’d say ND for me. But for me it's also just a car with low mileage. This seems like something Matt Ferrara would buy, then tout how much of a "baller" he is for owning it. 

Oh I have. It's a no go. The owner doesn't want to pay for the extra insurance because of the fire hazard. Our renters insurance would go up as well. 

And we’d be fine driving a Nissan leaf, but it a horrible little thing to live with. Charging (and insurance) is the thing that’s stopping us.

It's low voltage. If we used 220 as an outlet voltage this wouldn't be a problem. 

I have 30+ years of experience in manufacturing. Everything from plastics to metal casting. The tollerans are completely doable, just not in the scale of a production vehicle.
