I recently bought a 98 Ford explorer XLT 4x4 with 83k (86k now) for $1700. I may just drive that bit if I needed to buy a new car I would either get a Jetta S or sport with the manual (about $21-25k) or whatever the Hyundai/ Kia sedan is that has the 1.6 turbo engine and manual.
