Morons! If you put 80k down they would end up paying you money to take the thing off of the lot.

Im pretty sure “poor” people aren’t seriously shopping top level trims on any new vehicle, much less one that far into the 60s

And who pray tell is it owned by, in a communist run country? Oh it's owned by a billionaire, who is "not" a citizen of a communist run government.

Hmmm. Buy an EV that’s associated with a knucklehead that’s constantly saying bad puns and little quips your drunk uncle says in the corner on Thanksgiving.

Well to be fair by my time scale you are almost in diapers. So it all evens out

When it comes to new cars really anything with a giant touchscreen. I know I’m running headlong into old age here (49) but this isn’t really a “technology” thing. It’s more a massive repair bill down the the line, that may not be possible as this tech ages out. I mean what is going to happen in 20 years when the tech

Yes but Ford and GM make trucks and a bunch of rental cars.

Testing the emissions components isn’t the same as requiring them to be on street driven cars.

Long enough to go through five presidents and multiple party changes.

Not sure if you noticed it, but trucks are popular everywhere.

If LA is indeed where the money is, then a penniless homeless person really shouldn’t be there then. 1.3 billion is the budget to “fight” homelessness in 2023. Sorry but that would end homelessness in multiple countries. So it sure as hell should end it in one city. That would buy a lot of drug rehab or relocation

Id agree if he were our last president. Many of the people reading this parents weren't born when Regan was president. The thing keeping this going isn't in the past, it's in the present.

We are in agreement that it’s an endless cycle of mismanagement and infighting. And we do need a long term solution. But they need to end this and they need to end it now. We are talking maybe 1-200k per person per year (for an indeterminate amount of time) to care for them.

Yeah but how else can I prove to you that a shop built one is cheyand a home built one is cheaper still?

The thing is I have a Panda 4x4 being slightly driven by a relative in Malaysia right now. And I’m getting tired of waiting the next fourteen decades it would take before it’s (maybe) legal to import that thing here. It would be an amazing little putt putt vehicle to explore around Phoenix here. I don’t care if it has

Newish Unimog or 1990s diesel converted bronco. A few giant water tanks and a soft place to sleep and a reliable place to cook. And I would happily spend the summer getting lost in the nothingness of the the southwestern states.

As sympathy as I am twords most of these people, it just sounds like they need to move the majority of them to a different cheaper less populated area. LA ain’t getting cheaper. These people are never going to make the money to afford where they are now. The RVs just sound like a worse solution than the tents.

Yes and if you had the Ineos dipped in iridium it would greatly increase it’s price. I’ll tell you what. You give me 160k and I’ll have two wranglers built. One from a shop and one from me. Then organize a shoot out with the wranglers and an new Ineos.

Id be more concerned about the dealership being able to diagnose problems and fixe tuning glitchs than having a factory warranty. I mean I get the appeal and all of doing this to a new vehicle and all that. But not having to deal with tuners tuning and the smog Nazis during smog checking, would almost make 10k worth

1st. Fiat shut your stupid mouth unless you are saying we are bringing the Panda here.
