My time as a German auto tech lead me to install about 20,000,000 wheels stud kits. And unless you out there doing this absolutely know you will both only remove your lug nuts by hand and retorque those stud's every time you remove your wheels (and I mean every time) just use some green locktite to hold them in place.

They are by far lighter. And remember rotational weight is basically three times that of static weight (or so I’ve been told over the decades) when it comes to performance. They also just have less parts "to go bad". But this is German less parts to go bad, not normal people thinking less parts to go bad.

I’m giving this a NP. And for a Chrysler product of this era really anything short of a wheelbarrow is an accomplishment. This is like an accomplished artist suddenly suffering a brain injury, and this car is the finger paintings on the road to recovery. It's certainly not it's best work, but forward progress is

Oh thank you whatever God there may be. My extremely petite wife is endlessly bitching every time we fly to Malaysia and she and the squishy weeble wobble people around us have the same baggage weight requirements. Just have a net number of what we can bring total, you and your baggage total. The weight all of it and

IF I’m pulling into a rest stop, you will get out and try to pee. I don’t care if you don’t have to go. Try

But, but, but. No hybrid.

I don't know. I'm kinda the target audience for this (we have the income and I have have a wife and two tiny kids that think temps in the 60s are parka weather), but anything weighing that much with only a 1 liter engine AND a CVT would get laughed out of production if say Ford made it.

Then I strongly suggest not flying into Hong Kong airport is those conditions. Cause I guess they just stop landing till the weather clears up

Primer? That would mean they had car insurance. It's a different color from a pull apart yard. +5 points if it's held on by only two factory bolts and an entire bag of zip ties

Maybe they should just adopt what Hong Kong does. When the airplane is about two miles out people on the ground with binoculars take over giving instructions to the pilots.

Phoenix. Nissan Altima with scuffed bumpers, a giant crack on the windshield, a California plate and a support Bernie bumper sticker

Ehhhh. No. This may be the trucks worth (as in what it cost to build) but it not close to what it should cost in a private party sale.

Now playing

The acid queen is dead. Long live the acid queen.

And the base Tiguan (also with 4 motion) is about 10K cheaper. And if you really want to cheap out you can get a Jetta for about 22k.

True. In that time they might get two or three miles of that high speed rail in.

And we don’t have a more recent example of high demand driving up prices?

Im just so happy someone wrote an article about bus stops and didn’t dedicate about 80% of the story to why the benches shouldn’t have bumps on the seats so homeless people can live in them.

1st. So what you are saying is that we are about to get a flood of rust free used cars in the rest of the US, and that the poor in California are about to get shafted into expensive EVs that they may not be able to easily charge. Or bloated prices on used gas cars already in the state. Or be forced onto the pitiful

Well milk is kinda plant based and kind to animals. After all the manufacturing plant is located inside the cow.

You know, I went into this article thinking nope. There’s no way I would spend that much on something like this. But. After looking at the pictures it’s a maybe.
