I mean really the best part about having a car and living in New Jersey is that you are only ever a few hours away from leaving New Jersey. Driving over that boarder into any of the neighboring states (even Delaware) is like when Dorothy woke up in the land of Oz.
I myself learned on a early 1970s Ford F350 with 40" mudboggers and drum brakes. But that was NOT the best vehicle to learn.
Are they saying that if you get a covid vaccine these numbers will go down? Or are they saying people that got the covid vaccine were busy dying form heart related injuries, so they can’t drive.
Yes. This is one of those cars that would make a good battle car/ mad Max car. It’s appearance can only be improved with about 30' of EMT wrapped around it and about 5 cans of mismatched spray paint.
That’s a big ND for me. Not only is this the ugliest of this line of car. But fixing the power deficiency isn’t just a “grab a set of heads from a different era and maybe slap in some higher compression pistons” Hell just trying to get these turds to run period is a weekly challenge. Maybe $3000. Maybe.
Ehhhhh. I was an auto tech when your first car was new. And it was...... not good. I know you remember it fondly, but it was, bad in many ways.
As an American I feel like we should offer her an apology for having to drive that car. Well maybe we should as a country apologize for that car being sold in Japan at all.
So a company made money. But now they aren’t-ish. I get the fantasy that things like this should be paid forward. But that’s just not how stuff works.
Sadly that is what an alarming number of people think.
Meh. Have you driven one.
I’ve always been confused by this mentality. As prices go up things cost more. Who do people think is supposed to pay for this.
I’ve never owned one of these, but I have built about 5-6 from binned GSXR1000. I’m due a bike soon. I might go look at these.
Haha. What happened to the lawyer?
I myself love the idea of the US making batteries. I work in manufacturing (industrial robotics and automation) and would just love to spend the last 20 years of my working life in something we make, and not have made in China hidden under the made in the US sticker.
I’ve worked in manufacturing for a few decades and I can tell this (unfortunately) is kinda common.
Maybe something has changed in the last few years. I tried unsuccessfully to get a title for a car I bought. It was just endless red tap. Basically it came down to the seller owning back registration.
You had me until you I read the part about California and back fees. Never will I ever, every deal with that headache again. Especially buying out of state
Mental disassociation gives you superpowers.
I um, huh. Ummm, huh. I don't like that they won't sell it in brown with a velour interior. No. No, that won't work with this one. I'll tell you what. If Acura gives me 20k for my 200,000k+ ILX, I'll buy the first one.
