Yeah I’ve a bit of research on the SR myself. I’ve spoken to the DMV. Police officers. The parks department. A few motorcycle dealerships. Hell even a lawyer to see what my defense would be of if I got a ticket for riding one, if that was enforceable.

I actually like it. My daily is a 14 Acura ILX. SO this is more the same for me. But things things right off the bat makes it a hard pass for me right away. 30k and no rear seat AC vents and only a dark black interior.

One thing I’ve learned from researching the Segway/ Sur Ron thing. Laws vary GREATLY from not just state to state. But also township to township. 

It depends on the state. Here in Arizona you could easily get a plate on this. But with our lax electric bicycle laws, you really don’t need to.

So they basically made an electric bicycle. Which it should be with a 40mph top speed. But, this thing is, I’m guessing subject to electric bike laws. So no license to ride it.
