They make facelift tape that pulls the skin back. They might have used that. Also lighting and, yes, in this day and age probably some photoshoppy special effects.

I read a smattering of Twitter comments this evening that included the SMASH hashtag (SMASHtag), and an alarming number of them were complaining about Hilty being present, singing, taking screen time away from McPhee, etc. Quite disturbing really.
