Always entertaining to see people who hang their burdens from the push bars of strollers. They’re tooling about no problem, until they decide to take the kid out and the thing flips over and all their stuff is everywhere.

Most of the kid-specific reasons I hear about people moving out to a suburb usually pertains to the quality of the schools. Not to say that urban city schools are bad, but in the region I live (the southeast) that’s generally the reason.

Yes.
Can we start a campaign to bring back the sofas GM used to put in cars in those cars in the 80's? The new Impala and Malibu would be so much better with bench sofas.
That still leaves lane splitting that (at least in my area) is done at any speed and usually puts me a lot closer to a bike than I’d hope to be. I’m fine with filtering and splitting in stop and go, but it terrifies me for the person when everyone else is doing 50ish and they are doing 65.
It is impossible to both
Lane splitting used to make me rage but now I don’t care at all, it just seems really dangerous if done under certain conditions.
Except when a biker pulls up on your side and rides at the same flow as you, expecting you to completely stop so you can let him/her get in front of you.
Ya know..never been a huge fan of that term. It creates an “us against them” mindset when that doesn’t need to be the case.
Where are you located, if I may ask? Because I can’t believe this take is anything but regional influence based on prices around you because this thing is a screaming deal imo...
Seriously, is this a joke? A Miata that runs for under 3k? No bloodstains and (presumably) no dead body in the trunk? Around here that’s an automatic NP.
Heavy running gear and aero.
No, what’ll happen is they’ll just stop selling the cars that still come from Japan (mostly niche specialty models, that is, fun cars) in the US.
You’re new here and to North America since January, aren’t you?
Check out this nerd, talking to herself!
At least it’s not just a big tablet bolted to the dash...
why is everyone comparing completely different looking things to this car?
I’ve always thought the A7 looked kinda horrible. This one looks great. It looks vaguely mini-Chiron-esque from the rear. Similar sort of exaggerated squatness and expansive width.
