For whatever reason, the sims have a much later cutoff on their mobile on cell phones and gives a more complete picture. But the point wasn’t to create the most accurate simulation known to man. It’s just an A to B to C to D comparison to show the effects of various measures on the normal distribution of those

The WHO and CDC are smart enough to account for the number of cases that go unreported and can factor that into their numbers. So I wouldn’t discount what they say. Also when it comes to exponential growth, you can’t equate total number of people who die from viruses each year to the total number that have died after

Not necessarily. See the article below for various scenarios/simulations. There are scenarios to minimize those infected. But I fear it’s not economically viable.

By what metric though?

Agreed. Pretty much useless going from Midtown to Downtown. And not only that, it doesn’t even run 24 hours a day.

Detroit has barely cared about public transport at all despite most of their citizens requiring it. In the Motor City, personal transport is king, and the suburbs can afford it.

Do they deserve it? Debateable, I’d even argue perhaps a portion of it.

It seems a lot of government organizations are caught off-guard by some of the decisions up top....

I know, right? My Jeep keeps spitting it up with it’s coolant.

Good luck man! Holding down the house by yourself isn’t ideal, but send your wife a thanks for being on the front lines.

Username checks out.

I mean really people should just be stocking up for a 2 weeks supply in case they need to self quarantine. Other than that wash your hands and don’t go to crowded events.

I know, I know, the office workers aren’t “off,” they’re working from home, and there’s no way for factory workers to work from home, but there’s no way this isn’t a Bad Look.

I agree. What I worry about and what will be interesting is that as the transaction prices go up, they’ll leave some potential buyers off the table simply because they can’t afford the vehicles. As manufacturers find that they can make the same amount of money for less vehicles, I worry that they’ll reach a point

The market is a collection of all industries. What you appear to be talking about is just the banking/lending industry.

Concern for the public health doesn’t bring in the money.

Know someone that is hiring for a similar position? Climbing the corporate ladder is slow and tedious for some people with the talent but bound by bureaucratic roadblocks.

Your 401k won’t affect your income or liquid savings unless you’re retired. So if you’re not retiring in the next couple years, don’t worry about it. If anything you should be worried about job security when thinking of that new car purchase. ;)

Lol, the one place in Michigan where there are no cars allowed.

No one implied that 100% of jobs would switch to working from home. There are many, many jobs where that isn’t an option. Even if 10% of jobs moved to a “work from home” environment, that would be a huge change.
