You raise a good point — why in God's name was The Eye so hell-bent on committing nefarious acts against other characters in the Astral Plane? Just force of habit? Lack of something better to do?

Yeah, I'm still a little confused as to whether or not there was ever an actual (non-Shadow-King-inhabited) Lenny that ever existed in the real world (outside of David's mind).

Okay, but that usually happens anyway for entirely unrelated reasons, right?

Well, I liked it….

…and then subsequently being executed for the valiant effort.

Interesting, though am I the only one wondering what the hell you're doing walking around with a slim jim handy? What line of work are you in, exactly? (Please feel free to plead the 5th.)

After having spent a few minutes thinking about what I wrote above, I can feel a sickening emptiness beginning to open up in my heart when I fully reflect on Mr. Swearengen's conduct toward those in his employ in his capacity as a pimp, and it leaves me somewhat morally distraught. So, I humbly retract the answer

Al Swearengen. I know, I know, the man was a murderer, a thief, and a serial manipulator, and he harboured some views toward women and minorities that were (shall we say) "less than enlightened," but sweet Jesus, that was a god-damned MAN.

I've got to say, I think you're making a pretty persuasive case here, my friend.

I love Andy Daly, and I really kinda despise Chris Hardwick. Watching that was a very odd experience.

Also, is no one in the group at all troubled by the fact that one of the nation's elite genetic scientists (which is what Eugene is claiming to be, if I understand correctly) would be sporting a mullet like the one he has? I mean, how likely is that?
