The last Democrat to give the response was Governor Sebelius, who gave an excellent rebuttal to President Bush’s usual nonsense and then went on to be HUD Secretary and lead the successful ACA rollout.

She also said that racism isn’t a problem in this country because she’s the Governor. Which is really cute because other Republicans were calling her a “raghead” before her election.

I don’t think most people who watched the series think Steven Avery is an upstanding human. Dude obviously was a creep and had some boundary issues with women. That doesn’t mean I’m okay with him being convicted for a crime it’s unclear if he committed.
Did you not watch it? She was fed misinformation and the DNA evidence proved that it wasn’t Avery.
One person I truly feel bad for in this is Brendan Dassey. This kid was unbelievably failed by those who were supposed to protect him and I do not believe he should be in jail. I hope that if anything comes from this, Brendan gets a shot a new trial.
Seriously, those are the kind of guys you want in your corner. They are how lawyers are supposed to behave with their clients *side-eye Len Kachinsky*. You know, believing in their client and actually communicating with them and their families.
What evidence is there that he didn’t do it? I keep hearing people convinced that he didn’t do it, and while I think there is probably reasonable doubt that he did do it, I haven’t seen any evidence that directly contradicts that notion that he did it. Am I missing something?
On a lighter note, the subreddit for this series has devolved into pictures like this over the last few days. Hopefully they’re not the only positive thing to come out of the series:
