I think it might be a problem with the editing of the interview. They mention Brexit prior, so I think she is acknowledging she is quite privileged and recent events have opened her eyes to pervasiveness of both racism and sexism.

Clarification: other people involved in the administration. They aren’t just accused of being “complicit,” they are seen as being directly responsible, which she should be as well. My critique is that we use softer language for her than others in the administration even though she is just as responsible.

I wouldn’t for a second say attacking her is anti-feminist. My argument is we actually aren’t attacking her hard enough. She’s not “complicit,” she is in on and benefiting from the whole damn thing. She isn’t just staying silent about the problem, she is a root of the problem.

Why do we expect more from her than any of the other people involved in this administration? We don’t accuse others of being “complicit” because clearly they are happy participants...why do we expect women to be morally more pure? Part of equality is the equal capacity to be a shithead.
