To be fair, Ishiguro has refuted LeGuin's assertions that he's anti-fantasy, claiming he's on the side of the "ogres and pixies". I've only read Never Let Me Go, but the idea that the core characters are unwittingly unaware of where they came from and their very nature seems to run through both novels. I'd be more

I use tabs frequently, at least until Chrome starts sucking down memory and brings my computer to its knees.

I'm recently divorced and living alone for the first time ever. It's AMAZING. My ex husband was super critical and I am experiencing freedom like I've never known.

As a creative professional (photographer), few things irk me more than people asking me to essentially work for free. I've had companies and organizations contact me telling me they want to publish or use my work. When I ask about compensation, they tell me that they can't pay me, but it's "great exposure".

MADELEINE YOU ARE JUST TROLLING WITH THAT PICTURE OF CHRIS BROWN NOW.

i wouldn't be surprised if this was a ripple effect of somethin that happened last week in the spurs game. he had a great game, but was inexplicably left in during the waning minutes of that blowout. got a wide open breakaway layup that he seemed to overextend on & landed awkwardly; he even kinda winced after the

I don't care if my favorite team is in the west, this fucking blows. Really love his game, very underrated player. hopefully he can make a full recovery from this.

Heading into free agency, too. Poor guy.

He just lost millions off his new potential contract this summer. Sucks for him. The Portland curse strikes again.

Ray Allen may have found his perfect signing opportunity.

Another pro-lifer GOP type who values life right up till birth.

Well good God, something that bureaucratic certainly deserves a pirouette.

Meanwhile, he completely ignores the massive foul being committed all over that court:

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Douchebag Man. A man able to take a basketball game and make it into a personal crusade to want to chuck a brick through your TV. A man that could make a player like Tim Duncan want to pulverize him into chunks of stool.

Problem is that even the Bucks and Kings are drawing huge money on the open market. Not to mention markets like Seattle that really want teams. There's no way the league is shrinking any time soon, though I'd hope they're smart enough to not expand either.

"But late in the game, as he tried singlehandedly to stave off a loss to the Trail Blazers"

This is the first time an open display of douchebaggery has made me like a person more.

Coven is the only season I watched. I thought it was an awesome concept and definitely was hooked until the last few episodes, when it went off the rails a bit. But, still, it started so strong, I think people let their disappointment in the ending cloud their judgment of the whole, which was pretty awesome.

I watched & bailed on every season except for Coven. I am fully aware that I am in the minority on this but I fucking loved Coven. COME AT ME, BRUJA.

Every season except the first feels like they spent a ton of time coming up with the theme, casting, designing sets, and then the day before filming went, "Oh shit! We forgot to write anything! Quick, just jot down whatever."
