Not really. Galaxy S2 costs me to buy 469€ here in Finland (unlocked and everything) and iPhone 4S costs me 628€ (again unlocked and everything). Now Galaxy S3 costs the same as iPhone 4S but I don't think it's a fair comparison as S3 comes with considerably better hardware and rightfully so as it is newer.

Wot? If the motherboard and sounds are working fine then those hardware don't need updates. The only driver I can think of that should be updated regularly are graphics card but you don't need Asus to release any. Just check which graphics card you have and go to either AMD's or NVIDIA's website for the newest drivers.
