Pet peeve: when people use the ancient (circa 1800s) term “puce-green”...it’s like saying purple-green. Literally. Puce is a shade of purplish-pinkish-brown; sort of a dark, dull, muddy mauve color. Most often, people actually mean “pea-green” or “chartreuse”...which is the color of Hilary Duff’s dress, as seen above.…
