None of the jokes were about her looks. Anyone who says they were is projecting.

Oh god, I hate it when I agree with Wendy Williams.

She is awful.

Punching up is not bullying, it’s trying to stop the guy up top from stepping on your fingers.

Fucking THANK YOU. I’m a good person! I do good things! I hate injustice! I don’t need a fucking husband or kids to validate all of my feelings and experiences. Sick of over-privileged women using their platforms to remind the world that I am a lesser being because I have failed to procreate.

Of all the hot takes, this one annoyed me the most:

Plus she made fun of her own voice in the set. She beat them to it and her takes were actually funny.

Now playing

At least Bush showed up and laughed. Bush was a bad president, but at least he could take a joke.

This. So many of them are whining about how her voice sounds. That’s such a red flag when men do that. It’s like they’re grasping for legitimate reasons to hate her, and all they can think of is her voice. Her womanly voice.

Obviously, they hated Stephen Colbert back in the day too. That said, do you think the set would have been perceived differently if it was a man telling the jokes? Is she being dinged for not playing nice, like a good girl should?

I was most offended by Mika stating it was wrong to criticize a mother. GROSS.

“Watching a wife and mother be humiliated on national television for her looks is deplorable ... All women have a duty to unite when these attacks happen and the WHCA owes Sarah an apology.”

There is a lot of gross implications in what Mika said. It sounds like if a woman does what society expects they will be protected. Frankly, if that is the case it doesn’t apply to all women who are wives and mothers.

So none of these journalists demand an apology from Trump when he says seriously horrible things? Do you call him out he doesn’t have a sense of decency or purpose about his job?

Remember, people:

Michelle Wolf was calling her a liar and a gaslighter. That is all true. She would fit right in at with the other aunties in the Handmaid’s Tale. Frankly, I’m disgusted by all the women rushing to her defense. She is not the one that needs to be defended.

Christ, these journalists are just falling over themselves to defend SHS, latching onto a throwaway joke about eyeshadow in their eagerness to keep their places at the Trump feeding trough.

Are there any Hispanics in the theater tonight?
