I made a brief return to MN this past June for a long weekend (Dad’s 75th birthday) and we had a super weird restaurant experience. Most inattentive service and slowest kitchen ever. I think the only people working at the Ruby Tuesday (on a Tuesday?? Wednesday??) were high school kids on summer break. I did get my…
Maybe too many reheated hotdish(es) for supper. I was practicing for Thanksgiving turkey leftovers tonight and made a “casserole” and my husband was scared to try it. Then he remembered his mom used to make a tuna noodle casserole that he liked.
So you’ve been watching Fargo Season Two also?
Yep, smart and it didn’t hurt if they could play some music too! I like your story about meeting Mike backstage unexpectedly! Sounds like a lovely experience. Sometimes you don’t want to “meet your heroes” and then sometimes your hero is a kind classy person!
I’d like to think so. I was kind of a weird kid. And I’m still weird, but in a delightful way. Heh!
You could be writing Monkees lyrics with that rhyming! I definitely had a soft spot for the Nesmith.
All my friends had crushes on Davy, but I had to be different. :)

I was in the grocery store Sunday afternoon (Safeway, not a psuedonym) and I heard a lady start up a conversation with a young man who she almost ran over with her very full cart. “Sorry, oh, you’re looking at that? Yeah, I love Agave syrup, it’s so good. I’m allergic to sugar so that’s what I use all the time.”
They (Tina and Amy) both speak highly of her. One of them said she is the funniest person they know. Shoot. Maybe it was in Amy’s book. Or when one of them was telling a story to Jimmy Fallon on his show. And I thought then, how did I not know of this crazy amazing funny writer performer?
Yes, that is the one! I saw that ad too recently and told my hubby I was going to start doing my eyes like that, along with the smoky eye in deep shades of green. Wonder how many people I could frighten with that...
My hairstylist last month was recovering from a rash he got after switching to expensive all-natural products that his housemate won in a gift basket raffle.
Also, it’s a symbolic gesture to pressure other countries like China that do require animal testing on their cosmetics. Clerc stresses the need for the U.S. to set a precedent on the issue so that it won’t happen in other countries.
