It’s a weird middle ground though. Investing comes with risk, that’s part of it. Sometimes you put money into something and it catches fire before launch and you lose that money. That’s not what Kickstarter is. It’s really just elaborate pre-ordering. But people don’t like that either because Kickstarter backers want

Regardless of how busy you are, taking 10 mins to let people know you're still there every month, a little more detail every quarter, buys you a TON of forgiveness and understanding.

That “friendly advice” at the end of the update is the kind of thing that many of us write, savor for a long moment full of angry fantasies, then delete because thrashing around like that in public is fucking embarrassing, whether or not it makes problems down the line. Still, the post could be a lot worse.

This stream, intentional shitpost or otherwise, drew explicit attention to this reality—and boy is it a bad look for people who lose their shit over delays.

People who complain endlessly about sword-wielders are about as annoying as 1st party purists and Geno stans. We get it, Fire Emblem burned you out on well-coiffed, counter-adept, blade-wielders. Give it a rest, because whining is really tiresome.

Gotta love how physical copies are outdated before they even get to customer’s hands. At least there is a workaround in this case.

I think you’re probably right, and I also think Sony’s a little more afraid of innovating within those franchises: the distance between Mario games in a ten year span is huge versus the difference between, say, the games in the Uncharted series - and I mean on a gameplay level, not just a technical improvement level.

Nintendo doesn’t like to rehash game mechanics. It’s why you see one Mario Kart every generation instead of four or five. They consider gameplay part of the overall package and selling you updated visuals might as well just be a remaster or remake of something that was truly inspired. Some of their subsidies like Game

Though FFXIV is running into a similar older content problem that they need to fix asap before it becomes a problem and this looks like Destiny is trying to avoid.

Played WoW for 15+ years, never typed /flirt. Not even once.

Yeah, and completely illegal to use any information gained from looking at that source code in their own products. I guarantee anyone who actually works in this space is staying far away from this leak. I wouldn’t want to have to prove my ideas were my own against Amazon attorneys, especially if it can be proved you

and everything.

While not my #1 pick, I had him predicted for my top 10, and even I know he was one of the top most-requested characters on both eastern and western markets.

If we’ve learned anything about The Gamers, they’ll bitch about anything.

They started at 11.

This is pretty much what I was going to say. What’s a more apt pick for a big crossover franchise, than the OC from another big crossover franchise?

Sora is the latest in a long line of blade-based fighters in Smash Bros.

Maybe he should take a class in “reading the room”?  Or here’s another idea, address the damage that “Robert” has done and maybe talk about doing something to protect Black girls/ young women for becoming prey for deviants in the industry?

like the Boondocks said over 15 years ago “every black man who is arrested is not Nelson Mandela!” there’s a time and a place to comment about criminal justice reform.  This is not that moment, this is a moment to acknowledge that sometimes the system does get it right and sometimes harsh punishment is warranted for
