I had a similar experience when I was forced to volunteer at a vegetarian food festival during highschool. “UGH, why are these people I have resolved to look down on acting so nice?” I walked away with armloads of coconut ice cream. It was difficult to consume it all, because coconut ice cream is not very good.

Does the media give an inflated impression of how many abusers work for the NFL? Or does making a habit of violence, all day every day, eventually make it easy for some players…

If sexualizing little girls is considered a focal point of “artistic integrity” then may I just say: FUCK ARTISTIC INTEGRITY. Japan has a huge problem with sexualizing young girls (even Miyazaki has voiced his disgust!) and we really don’t have to partake in it to enjoy the better points of their media. Not at all.

Ever notice how plus sized models who make it big are usually white ladies with long hair? You have to be super feminine (and white) before people can accept that you can still be attractive.
