Boomer-ass comment section here. It’s a pop-country singer at a Las Vegas planet hollywood, not Yo-Yo Ma. It’s so weird how mad people get about taking selfies.

Not sure race has much to do with people believing it’s a hoax.
Agree. Nobody including police believed Denise Huskins, a California woman who was kidnapped many years ago, and dropped back off close to home. She is a white woman and was accused widely of perpetrating a hoax with her boyfriend. But it turned out she was telling the truth and she subsequently sued and won. I don’t…
It has zero to do with the fact that she is black. It has to do with the obvious inconsistencies in her story, the fact that police aren’t actively looking for a kidnapped toddler, and the complete lack of any evidence this ever happened.
Can you point out Jezebel’s full-throated defense of this woman?
“Markle wasn’t being deceptive, just perhaps lazy. And in my podcasting America, that’s no crime.”
Agreed. It’s still a bit of a mystery why she couldn’t even be bothered to interview people for her podcast herself though. Even if there was no deception per se. It’s not like she has anything else to do, or like she’s raising her two kids without nannies and help. For 20 million that’s pretty fucking embarrassing.
I can believe that they were advised to sign the deals that they signed. I do not think they were advised to have such low output for those contracts. Their stans are always insisting that they are such hard workers and are always busy but the evidence of this is non-existent.
I’m actually 100% sure that Harry and Meghan were absolutely advised that they should definitely get into all of these ventures for the supposed benefit of their brand. There’s a lot of money to be made in the industry being the middle man in those deals.
Same for Harry. Dude is famous because of who Granny was and nothing more.
Just my opinion, but I don’t think they seem that nice at all…
I’ve visited the Archewell website a few times to try to figure that out myself. There is a blog/press room type drop down listing what they have been up to. It’s almost always H&M “met with” underserved communities, “traveled to”, “talked with”. Even, “connected” different charities. But like, not actually doing…
I don't mean this to be snarky, but what charity work do they actually do? Who has been helped by their work? It just seems like they want to be seen as charitable people, instead of actually doing the work.
I’m curious what these 2 do in an average day. I genuinely don’t understand why they couldn’t handle 12 episodes of a podcast over multiple years, with like 3 times the staff of an average podcast. And Harry going on about taking parental leave when his daughter was born... like dude, what work are you on leave from?…
I think we all need to admit that Harry and Meghan are just boring. They seem nice enough, but at no point do they seem at all compelling enough to be stars. And I like them. I love their story. We just need to stop expecting more. They’re pretty and bland. And rich. Let’s just check in with them every 3 or 4 years…
Shes just another celebrity that is a celebrity because she is a celebrity. I’m not surprised that it turns out, she doesn’t have any creative substance to offer.
What happened to Bebe Rexha is scary, I’m glad that she is doing better and does not seem to have any long-term injuries. Especially since Melissa Benoist ended up with lasting eye damage due to her ex allegedly throwing an iPhone at her face.
I feel like I might come across as an asshole about this, this is also what happens when you come off a super restrictive diet and fall back into previous eating habits. I guess my question is, did she change her eating habits while she was on the drug, and then not stick with it once she stopped taking it, or is…
Oh, I remember those. But I don’t see them as being related. Benetton’s provocations always seemed aimed at opening people’s minds, this just seems like provocation for provocation’s sake.
It’s like you were actively trying to sound as dumb as possible.
Nothing tops the banned CK ads in the late‘90s. Those commercials were the creepiest shit I’ve ever seen and you can still find them on YouTube. They evoked a 1970s feel mixed with snuff films and pedophilia, all viewed through grainy camcorder footage in a basement. The Kate Moss one still gives me chills.
