Its really discouraging that the trend of things these days just boils down to “just dont be the nail that gets hammered today.” Pointcrow had this in work for months, he was not quiet about its development. It could have been shuttered at any point. But so could multiplayer mario, the oceans of pokemon content, zelda

This is unfortunately how it happens. There’s zero need for the copyright holder to contact you in any way with how Youtube is set up.

KiraTV just dropped a pretty good breakdown of the publisher of this game and a bunch of other similar titles, and their ongoing policy of wringing every bit of money possible out of the games they own and dropping anything that won’t meet their bottom line. Then again, we knew Ark was a scam when it dropped paid DLC

I don’t see this changing anything. Dolphin has been available for PC, Mac, Linux and Android for years. It’s even on the Google Play store with MILLIONS of downloads.

Have you ever tried to read a Wii or GameCube game with a DVD drive? It doesn’t work. You have to have a very specific DVD-ROM drive (none of the compatible drives are writers) capable of reading the slightly modified DVDs the GameCube and Wii use.

Gamecube and Wii both encode the disks backwards from a standard DVD, among other physical incompatibilities. A tiny handful of PC DVD drives can be coaxed into reading them, but for the general public, it is far simpler to run CleanRip on your Wii and make a dump that way. It’s pretty easy, I’ve done my whole

Because Valve is literally calling it CS2? Who would ever think its a sequel with a name like CS2?

I thought the series had become a lot smaller since CS:Source.

I still hope they will finally announce an orange box sequel with all the 3 releases in it. that way they can still avoid releasing any 3's as it will be Orange Box 2.

You mean The Nintendo Switch U

Nah. You’ll have to wait for the port to Super switch.

On the flip side, inflation has outpaced wage increases greatly.

The original also sold something like 1.6M copies. BotW sold 30M. The audience is vastly larger today.

If they’re gonna charge $70 for TotK, the damn game better run well on the Switch this time around!

The 40% ownership of Unreal is probably the single biggest factor here, because that engine is driving a *HUGE* segment of the market, from AAA to indie. Steam has it listed at roughly 25% of all games on its marketplace, with the next closest ‘competitor’ being Unity at just a little over half of Unreal adoption

The China references are still relevant because you have to take the global picture into account, because regulators are talking about blocking the deal on anti-competition / anti-trust worries. The important part of it is that Tencent has a bigger slice of the overall worldwide games market than Sony, Microsoft or

Jesus Christmas. That fucking thumbnail for the interview at the end of the article is like a demon staring directly into your soul. Could we get a NSFL warning on that thing?

The Mario sets are supposed to be played with, so I think that’s the biggest difference. They’re obviously very kid-centric and priced as such. The LEGO sets for Mighty Bowser and the Question Block are both awesome and what you’d generally expect from an “adult” LEGO build.

To each their own but as far as a Lego set that appeals to the child demographic, the Mario sets do the job.  At least at my house.  But I have a kid obsessed with Lego and Mario.
