It’s even better now. There are payware quality airliners available for free, and with the new avionics update, the default bizjets not only don’t suck, they’re actually pretty good.  And there are lots of really well-done payware planes for under 30 bucks.

I refuse to be a luddite, but I also just hate to see internal combustion thrown out. Anyone who claims that EVs are more eco-friendly than a modern ICE is fooling themselves.

For a guy who says he’ll never drive a truck, you seem to have a lot of very firm ideas of what constitutes a good truck vs a bad truck, and what trucks are supposed to be.

Tesla.  You will never convince me that those cars are luxury.  Panel gaps I can see through, horrible interiors, “leather” that is just nasty, seats that suck, etc etc etc.

The one that bugs me is when you’re waiting for a spot and people get in a car to leave, then take like 20 minutes to actually back out. Be aware when a lot is busy, put your stuff in, buckle up, and leave!

In pretty much any industry, meeting the federal requirements stops the government from fining the business and/or removing a license to operate. Civil suits, like class action lawsuits, get much more nuanced when defining who is at fault.

I would have to look for those surveys and studies, which sounds like work. Instead, I will trust anecdotal stories that have dubious provenance so that I can hate a company for which I don’t work. See? It all makes me feel good inside to get any validation that I am better than ‘BadManBezos’
