Yea it most likely is the same car with a different front end. In fact, there's a few YouTube videos with the car I posted and the surrounding area of one of the pictures is the same as that in one of the videos:

If that 212" overall length number is correct, its actually 7" LONGER than the Frontier crew cab and it would be 4" longer than the Tacoma double cab.
Ah, that's nothing. Down here in South Florida, the city of Coral Gables had a 50 year old law that banned residents from parking pickup trucks in their driveways overnight. That dumb law was repealed about a year and a half ago.

When dropped into the water, the ice cube is already displacing the same amount of water as contained within the weight of the ice cube. So the coastal flooding would have happened as soon as you dropped it into the water.
Pulling up too far at an intersection when the light is red, back up the car a bit, forget to shift to drive, and then proceed to launch it backwards when the light turns green. This has never happened to me, but I've seen others do it. One of those times it resulted in a collision.
Unless the chicken tax is repealed or VW finds a way around it, they will have to make it in the US.
