I guess it’s kind of a larger question - are you guys going to start diving in to churning and points and all that? It’s a huge topic and it would be interesting to see a gizmodo-ized explainer on that stuff.

I’d just throw out that when in doubt err on the side of overspending. I just saw a post in a travel facebook group I follow where the guy thought the 95$ AF for a chase card counted against minimum spend for a promotion.... poor bastard spent like $2950 assuming he’d hit the $3000 threshold to get his free points,

It would be so weird to have an offhand comment you made about a novelty shower head turn into a cornerstone of said novelty shower head’s marketing campaign.

I rarely get chippy in comments but get the editor to take a peek again dude

Can you share any resources on using the little guy specifically? It can fit a whole chicken? I’m having trouble grasping sense of scale. My current slow cooker is too big and unwieldy for me and my fiancée in our small condo. Wanted to get something small that would reliably make something for dinner (plus lunch

Do you have any resources for recipes with this little guy? I have a big ass slow cooker and most recipes online are kind of built to scale up big time. I know there’s probably a lot of ‘rule of thumb’ things to help with a smaller pot, but I am a horrible cook. I want one of these so bad!!

Even today it’s progressed to a stable beta. Jason - any chance you’d do some articles featuring fun mods / hacks for SNES games? I hate the idea of the super-hard mario mods but I’d love to try fun stuff. There’s a few quality of life type things I’m messing with... earthbound has a mod to fix the controls, removing

I kind of want to get this and sightsee on my PC. Am I going to ruin someone’s mulitplayer team? Unfortunately for them I’m a couch / controller PC gamer - no KB&M so I’m not much help when it comes to multiplayer shooters.

Who tailgates nats games? It’s in the middle of the city and parking is nonexistent. Go to the outfield bar for $5 tall boys or one of any of the bars in the area.

How is the filter replacement process? That’s what always keeps me from wanting to jump on things like this.

Agreed. I’ve been running it on my ipad pro for a month or so and it’s been just fine. I think it’s mostly due to the sheer horsepower in that device. I took the plunge and loaded iOS 11 on my iPhone 6 last week and it was a clunker. I will probably wait out 11.1 on my phone.

Scanned the product listing.. this doesn’t have cross buy for Xbox / PC does it? I’d definitely dive in for like 20$ on pc. Nice price for console folks.

I have the one I’d previously linked - it charges my ipad pro fairly quickly. It’s not ideal but is definitely suitable for passive charging when I’m on a flight or something. Agreed something with PD would be way better

Ok, so I bought a different USB C battery pack from Anker. I could have sworn the post initially said it was their only battery pack model (thus my original comment) but must have misread. Apologies for that!

Incorrect, I bought it for like 52$ on July 9 direct from amazon. Looking at my order now. This is the 20100 model right? It’s a great battery pack and worth the money fwiw.

Amazing that (by all accounts) a top tier 4k tv is in impulse buy territory at this point. I’m hoping this drives competition and there’s a ton of great budget options this time next year. I’m still waiting until GPUs are comfortably driving games at 4k (probably next nvidia generation?) and there’s more content.

How do you even have 5 rooms in a 900 sq ft apartment? Foyer, Living Room, Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom?
