That's not an unreasonable sentiment.

I appreciate that reasoned response, sir. Obviously everyone's opinion varies but in my experience it's been nothing but smooth on my i5 2500k + 6950. I have heard unity was a total shitshow but I think that's probably indicitative of any new game engine moreso than it being related to ubisoft exactly.

What? I have a 6950 and I can run it flawlessly almost maxed out in 1080P. I play with an xbox controller, again flawlessly. SLI is a glitchy, weird solution and in your own words 4k is not up to snuff yet. I'm not surprised you're having issues. I mean it sucks you've had issues but to act like your problems, on

Random microstutter does not = 'a mess'. Nicely done, hyperbolic internet commenter.

It was pretty great to take advantage of the firesale once the format tapered off, though. You could get the drive for cheap, and movies were like 5$ a pop. Not bad for classic films.

I didn't buy my omega seamaster pro for the watch face. I bought it for the build quality, the heritage of the brand and its go-anywhere capabilities (that I'll never take advantage of, admittedly). Smart watches trying to ape a Rolex or omega watch face are just tacky and bougie imho.

Have you used android wear? How does it compare in terms of what I think a smartwatch is ideal for... basically helping you avoid checking your phone passively throughout the day?

I lost my dad last year and this hits me right in the heart. Awesome to see someone create art out of this stupid trivial COD moment.

Thank you for calling this dipshit out, Brian.

Seriously, there are a shit ton of programmer types on reddit who make a whole lot of money and don't have very many expenses. It's semi stereotyping, but semi true - tons of disposable income on that site.

Hey Eric - thanks for another great post. I know it's not a real review but you're by far the best writer gizmodo has had in a long time. I really trust your impressions moreso than really any other tech writer out there.

What? It would work because there's a screen attached to a keyboard and you can just balance it and set the angle however you want. Sitting in a weird contorted position with a small keyboard precariously balanced on a knee while you angle your head to stare at a tablet is not an ideal usage situation.

Just looking at that guy in the field trying to balance his keyboard on his knee makes me cringe. Execs trying to shoehorn ipads in to situations where they should just. get. a laptop. drive me nuts.

Oh man the moonside section of earthbound. Best game of all time, and I remember being so weirded out by moonside when I made it there.

You just summed up why I haven't picked up a next gen system yet. At this point a 300$ GPU seems like a better investment for the next 3 years.

I think if you're an android user it's a no brainer. Unfortunately chromecast is better supported in iOS / chrome browser.

Yawn. Interesting to see these baby steps in wearable tech, but the whole fitband wearable thing reeks of a solution in search of a problem.

This. There's no way ala carte purchasing would be a better deal for me than unlimited consumption, and I live in a city that gets almost every band from underground hipstery to sold out arena shows. I use my subscription service to seek out bands, and then support them directly through tickets to the concerts.

Any bluetooth speaker deals of note on amazon? I really need speakers for a bus trip on Saturday and was hoping to order via prime today. Was REALLY HOPING that you guys would feature something great today :(

So they didn't even roll the tablet-y features from the iPhone 6 plus to the ipad? Ouch.
