True story- I met my soon-to-be husband on a rating site. People always ask us how we met and the answer is 10 years ago on a rating site. No one knows what that is so we just say "online".

Exactly! I have a friend who took a Harry Potter quiz and I'm just over here like, "Duh. Ravenclaw. Who needs a quiz to tell them?"
That's not really what I meant. I totally agree with your Grumpy Cat eye rolling. But people feel this need to tell everyone all of their stories because shows like Miami Ink and the tattoo-less people I mentioned in my comment put such an emphasis on the importance of those stories that it's no wonder everyone…
I don't know if I could sit through a tattoo without my phone! Sometimes it's easier to focus on this super serious game on Angry Birds.
I think it would be a lot of pressure to make every decision in my life based off of how I might feel about it when I'm 100. We certainly wouldn't have as much heart disease as we do.
People shouting the reasons behind their tattoos can also be blamed on the tattoo-less people who feel the need to let everyone know that they "hate tattoos and think they are thoughtless and ugly unless the person got them for an actual meaningful reason."
