NBC' ratings are abysmal because the games aren't exciting. Someone needs to tell New Jersey to show up cuz they're in the Stanley Cup finals, for pete's sake.
Ah, yes. And where a Subway employee becomes a "Sandwich Artist."
After seeing the photo in your post, I couldn't resist a shout out to a city in my home province: [www.moosejaw.ca]
Just attend a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan party. We've got you covered.
Immediately, I thought of double-sided adhesives called Glue Dots: [www.gluedots.com]. I've bought a couple different types in craft stores before. They've been handy on all sorts of occasions.
There is no clear post vacation mind. The day I return to work, I usually spend all of it combing through voicemail and email that's piled up. I'm also faced with interruptions from co-workers asking about my holiday, meetings that I'm expected to attend, and phone calls from people who want me to do things for them…
I just heard something related to this on CBC Radio. Wish I could remember which program. It was an interview with someone studying the calming effects of nature. At first, I kind of thought it was a hokey subject but the conversation was interesting enough that I was swayed by the end ofit.

In addition to turning to Lifehacker for an assortment of DIY ideas, a pitstop over at [www.instructables.com] can also prove handy.
A couple other folks have mentioned the same thing I do. I cut celery stalks into bite sized sticks then put them in a tupperware container, fill it with water, and put a lid on it. I do the same with carrots. Keeps them fresh and cold.
I'm also a fan of ziploc bags for uses like this.
When a relative tries to add you as a Facebook friend, just ignore the request and leave them lingering in limbo. When they ask you about it at a family event, tell them you're simply not interested in adding relatives - friends only.
You're preaching to the choir, sister.
I have three rules concerning children. I don't want them to look at me, touch me, or talk to me.
You can also roll a bunch of pages around each other to make a log. Just don't roll them too tight because some air needs to circulate in order to keep it lit. Use personal papers and junk mail - good kindling for a fire. Not sure about the level of toxicity (given the ink), but it's got to be better than those…
I'm all about hoarding digital music on my external drive (1TB). And I can't imagine deleting any of it - no matter how much I do or don't listen to it. All the while, I continue to build up my record collection (several hundred LPs at this point). It will never end!
