80's to 90's was a pretty good era for it, though with plenty of it’s own trash and issues. After that though... *shiver* Everything bad just got massively amplified, with virtually nothing good left.

The art for these games always looks beautiful and detailed. I’ve seen plenty of the designs on the Final Fantasy wikia and it looks well worth the money.

I wish some of these videogame companies would start selling these old (ugh) games as roms on GOG. None edited, no extra work, just the original roms. They honestly have nothing to lose from it, since the games are so dated that a remake intended for PC (as opposed to mobile) would easily look superior.

They didn’t really have a choice in the matter. Sure they could decline, but that would give Trump and co plenty of ammunition to attack an “uncaring and dismissive” video game industry.

To be fair, that is sadly the best way to go about it. Trump is a tremendous narcissist, easily swayed by people who butter him up.

They’re so out of touch it didn’t even occur to them to blame something more recent. Like Youtube (ugh, don’t want to give them ideas).

Which would probably be quite a large boon if they are trying to get their first (hell second) job in game development. Having a game developer publicly praise their work is no small thing.
